Our Story & Mission
When the patriarch of the Barnes family fell ill, the family flew to Florida to be by his side and to provide care. They soon realized they would need an extra set of helping hands and so they began their search for a home care provider that could meet their needs.
Their experience with caregiving companies was disappointing. Some caregivers were completely untrained, some refused to facilitate certain tasks, and some didn't show up at all. It was apparent that the agencies they were working with didn’t take caregiving seriously. Upon their return to California, the Barnes brothers founded Presidio Home Care to provide support for their loved ones and for the elders in their community.

Since its inception in 2009, Presidio has firmly established itself as California’s leading provider of premium supportive services. Presidio sets itself apart by having the highest qualification standards for their employees in the industry, by far. Presidio’s vetting and training processes are extensive and exhaustive. While most companies are willing to hire individuals with informal caregiving experience, each Presidio employee has at least 160 hours of supervised and documented state-accredited training. Their team members are licensed Home Care Aides, professionals who have dedicated their lives to helping people.
Presidio's goal is to provide personalized services at reasonable rates. Our mission is to serve our community and to enrich the lives of those we work with.
